Brian T. Nava is seeking reelection as Clackamas County treasurer in the November 3, 2026, general election. The county’s official candidate list names Nava as the only filed candidate for the nonpartisan office.
The county treasurer’s office identifies Nava as its treasurer and internal audit administrator. The office manages county cash and investments and provides internal audit services and a fraud-reporting channel.
In his candidate statement in the county’s November 2026 voters’ pamphlet, Nava lists prior work as Clackamas County internal auditor and a senior auditor with Oregon’s Audits Division. He reports a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Linfield College, with computer science and mathematics minors, and an EMT certificate from Clackamas Community College.
Nava’s current statement emphasizes safe, liquid investments, financial controls, more convenient banking services and identifying savings through internal audits. He says he has offered financial-control training to local governments and county employees. These accomplishments and priorities are his statements; the county does not verify candidate submissions.
