More than 35 health and wellness businesses will offer free screenings, demonstrations and interactive booths when the fourth annual Lake Oswego Wellness Fair takes over Millennium Plaza Park on Thursday, Aug. 13, from 5 to 8 p.m.

The Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce and Legacy Health Meridian Park Medical Center are co-hosting the event, which spans six categories: fitness and movement, health and medical care, beauty and aesthetics, recovery and self-care, healthy aging and senior resources, and everyday wellness, according to the Chamber's event page.

Fitness providers include Azend Hot Yoga & Wellness, BODY20 Lake Oswego, Orangetheory Fitness, Fit Alliance, FastFit, RECS Partners (pickleball) and The Bar Method. On the medical side, Legacy Health's Meridian Park campus is joined by HealthSource of Lake Oswego, Form & Function Chiropractic, The Injury Clinic, Tualatin Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine, Inner Ear Balance & Hearing Center and several IV-therapy and integrative-wellness providers.

Six beauty and aesthetics businesses are participating, including Luxe Atelier, Meraki Medical Aesthetics and Tres Chic Salon & Med Spa. Ten senior-care organizations will be on hand, among them the Alzheimer's Association's Oregon chapter, CarePatrol of Portland, Oswego Place Assisted Living and Visiting Angels.

The Lake Oswego Fire Department will run live demonstrations on AED use and CPR, KOIN reported. The Lake Oswego Police Department will also have a presence, giving families a chance to meet local first responders.

The Lake Oswego Health & Resiliency Advisory Board is among the community-resource exhibitors alongside Clackamas Women's Services, OnPoint Community Credit Union and Contego Modern Readiness, which focuses on emergency preparedness.

The fair marks the fourth year the Chamber has organized the event at the downtown park. Millennium Plaza Park is at 200 1st St. in Lake Oswego. The full and updated vendor list is available at LakeOswegoChamber.com/Events/WellnessFair.
