Patrick Walsh is one of six certified candidates for Lake Oswego City Council in the Nov. 3, 2026, general election. Voters may select four candidates. The three highest vote-getters will serve four-year terms, and the fourth will fill a two-year vacancy beginning in January 2027, according to the city's certified list.
The other candidates are Bryan Guiney, Heather Ramsey, Neil Tunmore, Peren Tiemann and Suzanne Miles. The race is nonpartisan.
Walsh's campaign website describes service on the Lake Oswego Public Library Advisory Board, including two years as chair, and participation in the 2023 Library Visioning Task Force and 2024 school district Bond Development Committee. Those descriptions of his experience are attributed to his campaign.
His platform supports meeting state housing requirements while preserving neighborhood character, directing housing toward existing infrastructure and maintaining design and tree-preservation standards.
Walsh calls for investment in roads, water and wastewater systems, emergency services and long-term capital planning. His fiscal proposals emphasize balanced budgets, predictable costs and clearer explanations for fees, bonds and levies.
On Oswego Lake, his campaign says the council should follow the law while prioritizing safety, water quality and clear rules. That statement describes his proposed approach; the profile does not establish any new legal ruling about lake access.
His campaign also lists environmental preservation, support for first responders, public art, libraries and museums among its priorities.
