Paul Savas is seeking another term in Clackamas County Commission Position 2 in the Nov. 3, 2026, general election. The county’s November election page lists Savas and Mark Shull for the nonpartisan contest.
His county biography says he was first elected in November 2010 and lists four terms, beginning in 2011 and continuing through 2026. He lives in an unincorporated part of the county and brings more than 25 years of small-business ownership experience.
The county lists him as co-chair of the Clackamas County Coordinating Committee and vice chair of the Region 1 ODOT Area Commission on Transportation. He also serves on regional and national transportation committees.
Campaign priorities
On his campaign issues page, Savas opposes regional tolling proposals that he says would divert traffic into neighborhoods. He supports transportation funding and capacity improvements, including the Sunrise Project and I-205 expansion.
He advocates full funding for the sheriff’s office and emergency services, more affordable and diverse housing, and housing support that helps people move toward independence.
His platform also calls for transparent decisions, balanced budgets, support for local businesses and protection of farmland and natural areas. These are positions from his campaign website.
