Buckley Law, the Lake Oswego firm with 48 employees, earned the No. 9 spot among Oregon's best small workplaces for 2026.

The privately owned law firm at 5300 Meadows Road landed on The Oregonian's annual Top Workplaces list, which ranks employers across Oregon and Southwest Washington based on confidential employee engagement surveys conducted by research partner Energage. Buckley Law placed among 34 small employers, defined as those with 35 to 99 workers, in a field spanning industries from software to healthcare.

The 2026 list, now in its 15th year, recognized 102 employers across three size categories: large, midsize and small.

Buckley Law also picked up a separate Culture Excellence award from Energage, earning recognition in eight categories including Employee Appreciation, Leadership, Employee Well-Being and Work-Life Flexibility. The firm said on its LinkedIn page that the culture award matters to its leadership team as it continues working to remain a top workplace.

The full-service firm handles business law, employment law, real estate, civil litigation, estate planning, family law, intellectual property and tax law, according to its website.

Several of its attorneys have earned individual honors. Seven were named to the Best Lawyers in America 2027 list, including William Gaar in employment law, Layla Kailani Makau'i McLean Loving in trusts and estates litigation, and Tiffany Minus and Jaye Taylor in family law. Four attorneys received 2026 Oregon Rising Stars and Super Lawyers honors: Molly Becker, Katrina Seipel, Noah Morss and Taylor.

The recognition goes beyond workplace culture. Buckley Law was also named a PDX Parent 2026 Readers' Choice Top 5 pick for Best Family Law and Estate Planning Firm, the fourth consecutive year the firm received that honor.

Buckley Law has long ties to Lake Oswego. The firm's attorneys and staff volunteer with the Arts Council of Lake Oswego, Kruse Way Rotary Foundation & Service Club, Lake Oswego Rotary Service Club, Lakewood Center for the Arts and the Oregon Food Bank.
