Lake Oswego senior wide receiver Jasiah Agnimel is one of 15 candidates on OregonLive's preseason watch list for Oregon 6A offensive player of the year.

Agnimel, who committed to Portland State after last season, caught 28 passes for 531 yards and eight touchdowns for the state champion Lakers in 2025. He earned all-state honorable mention and a spot on the Three Rivers League all-star second team at receiver.

He already looks the part in 2026.

In Lake Oswego's 34-7 season-opening win over No. 6 Willamette on Friday, Aug. 28, Agnimel hauled in five catches for 102 yards and a touchdown. He said the offense shook off a slow start and found its rhythm.

"I feel great. We've been working for this all summer," Agnimel told the Lake Oswego Review after the Aug. 28 win over Willamette. "We lost a couple of big players from last year, but we've just been working on our teamwork, our family and we stood together through it."

The Lakers lost plenty of firepower from their 2025 Class 6A championship squad, which finished 12-1. Six first-team all-state players graduated, including 6A Offensive Player of the Year LaMarcus "Bam" Bell. That leaves a bigger role for Agnimel, a transfer from Mountainside who spent last season learning head coach Steve Coury's system.

OregonLive called Agnimel "the big-play receiver," writing he is "ready to break through this season."

Two other Three Rivers League players also made the 15-name list. Lake Oswego senior quarterback Ryder Lemm earned a spot. So did West Linn senior quarterback Sloan Baker, the reigning TRL Offensive Player of the Year, who completed 68.8 percent of his passes for 2,803 yards and 37 touchdowns with two interceptions in 2025. Baker also rushed for 554 yards and seven touchdowns.

No. 1-ranked Lake Oswego hosts Casteel of Arizona at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4. West Linn plays Central Catholic at Pioneer Memorial Stadium at 7 p.m. the same night.
