Missing the old Bed Bath & Beyond run? Shoppers now have a new place nearby to browse towels, kitchen gadgets and home organizers — this time with a twist.

A new Bed Bath & Beyond + The Container Store opened June 18 at Bridgeport Village in Tigard, bringing the combined home-goods brand back to the area after Bed Bath & Beyond’s 2023 bankruptcy ended its previous run.

The store is the only Bed Bath & Beyond location in Oregon and blends the retailer’s familiar bedding, bath and kitchen products with The Container Store’s storage solutions, closet design and installation services.

The Bridgeport Village location is one of 22 new co-branded stores opening nationwide as the companies merge their retail footprints. The new format is designed around shopping by room — rather than by brand — with displays focused on projects like updating a kitchen, organizing a closet or refreshing a bedroom.

For local shoppers, the biggest change is simple: a familiar home retailer is back, but with a larger focus on helping customers tackle entire home projects in one trip.
