Wilsonville’s Town Center is getting a new pizza option as crews begin transforming a vacant storefront into a Mountain Mike’s Pizza location.

Interior work is underway at 29991 S.W. Town Center Loop, Suite B, next to Chipotle, where the California-based pizza chain is preparing to open its seventh Oregon restaurant.

The company, founded in 1978, has nearly 330 locations nationwide. A sign at the site and the company’s website confirmed the Wilsonville location, though no opening date or franchise owner has been announced.

The restaurant is expected to offer dine-in, takeout and delivery, with a menu centered on large pizzas and family-friendly offerings.

The opening comes as the chain expands in Oregon, while one separate Mountain Mike’s franchise in Medford recently filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. A company spokesperson said that case involves only that individual restaurant.
